The court is composed of several exceptional students, each with a unique story and a set of impressive achievements.
Ashtyn Buzard, from DuBois, is the daughter of Michelle Haley and Ricky Buzard. She is a member of Hope Squad, Beaver Buddies, the DAHS sideline and competition cheerleading team, and the National Honor Society. She plans to go to college, major in nursing to eventually become a nurse practitioner, travel, and have a family one day. Maddox plans to go to college to play basketball, play professional basketball overseas, and later become a college basketball coach.

Avery Fontaine, from DuBois, is the daughter of Steve and Hannah Fontaine. Grace Reynolds, a DuBois resident and daughter of Carrie and Jeremy Reynolds, is a key member of the court. Grace holds leadership roles as Historian of the National Honor Society and Treasurer of the Book Club. She is also a part of Hope Squad, Beaver Buddies, Student Council, Interact, Ski Club, and Varsity Softball. She works as a waitress at Hoss’s. Grace plans to earn a degree in early childhood education to become a second-grade teacher, get married, travel, have a family, and live for the glory of God. Her escort is Michael Stainbrook from DuBois, Pennsylvania, the son of Tim and Veronica Stainbrook. Michael plans to become a physician, be active in his community, and have a loving family.
Also from DuBois, Lucy Williams is the daughter of Kristen and Jamie Williams. Lucy is involved in sideline cheer, gymnastics, track and field, the National Honor Society, and Beaver Buddies. From Reynoldsville, Adalyn Witherite, daughter of Carrie and O.J. Witherite, is a standout musician and leader. She is a Drum Major of the Marching Band, President of both Beaver Buddies and Interact Club, Unified Bocce Ball Captain, and is involved in Concert Band, Concert Choir, Select Choir, Dynamics, Drama Club, and Book Club. She is also a member of Christ Lutheran Church and is involved with the youth group there. Adalyn's future plans include attending college and becoming a Speech Language Pathologist, getting married, and traveling. The 2025 Homecoming Duke is Michael "Mikey" Andrzejewski from Sykesville. He is the son of Bridgette Moffet and Kyle Downs. Michael is involved in Beaver Buddies and Zumba, and plans to work at Cricket Wireless.
This year’s Duchess is Jamie Hnat, from DuBois. She is the daughter of Wendy and Michael Hnat. She is involved in Bocce Ball, Bowling, and Challenger League Baseball. In the future, she plans to hang out with her friends, work, tell jokes, and stay active.
This year's Prince is Croix Savio Meholick from DuBois, Pennsylvania, son of David and Robin Meholick. Croix loves Jesus, enjoys swimming, plays (and wins) at chess, and takes joy in spending time at his most favorite place...Grandma Harmick's house. He is currently "Second in Command" of household chores, but is quickly anticipating promotion in the departments of window washing, vacuuming, and loving their family dog, Nya. In the future, he hopes to graduate from college and realize his dream as either a blue whale trainer, a math teacher, or an endangered animal rescue worker.
The 2025 Homecoming Princess is Bailey Kriner from DuBois, daughter of Brooke and Dylan Kriner. Bailey is involved in gymnastics, tee ball, and soccer, and loves playing with her friends and brother. Bailey wants to complete kindergarten, grow up, and become a movie star, a hair stylist, and a mom.
Last year’s queen, Aaliyah Middleton, will return to crown the new queen. She is the daughter of Anthony and Melvina Middleton of DuBois. She is currently attending school at the University of Hawaii, pursuing a degree in Marine Biology. Her escort is Connor McAllister of Treasure Lake, the son of David and Tracey McAllister. He is currently working at The Angry Goat restaurant.
Homecoming is Friday, September 19th. As in the past, the entire community is invited to the high school for a tailgate party that includes food, music, and fun starting at 3:45. All is free of charge. The annual Homecoming Parade starts at 5:45 and will take the usual route from the high school, down Division Street to Mansell Stadium. The Beavers take on St. Mary’s at 7:00 pm, and the 2025 Homecoming queen will be crowned at halftime.
